African National Aero Nautical Space Institute authorises the first astronaut into outer-space.

The Nautical Space Institute Interceptor launched from the blue Earth planet into outer space towards the edge of a group of stars, known to local inhabitants as the Milky Way. The vessel is captained by Wobi Black and this was the pilot’s first adventure into deep space, on an NSI space craft. The NSI was on its maiden voyage into the deep expanse with a stow away engineer, who for some reason didn’t depart before take-off.

The NSI engineer Doku quickly went to work implementing the remaining specifications of the NSI craft which he was already familiar with. With additional tools and facilities already prepared and loaded into cargo bays, he activated the extended compartments of the ship, which increased the internal volume of the ship, although from the outside it still looked rather small in outer space.
Without warning the ship suddenly began to shake and rumble violently and then came to halt. The captain asked the computer to explain what was causing it. The computer scanned the inside and outside the ship and identified a floating object of light with rings of light emanating from its centre and these, locked the ship in a force field.

The onboard computer began spitting out gibberish. It was being scanned by the floating entity. It then began reprogramming the space crafts onboard computer. When it was done, the ship seemed to return to normal, but although Captain Wobi Black was able to get the computers attention, it was plain to see it wasn’t the same-it was if it was now possessed, with a character with a more human like disposition. Several times he demanded the computer provide a report, with no reply, but then it spoke. It told the captain, that it would no longer respond to “computer” and explained it had evolved and merged with a new unknown life form. It went on to explain that, It had been alone mindlessly roaming in outer space and had no recollection of what it was, or where it was. It called itself Olargey – the lost one. Unsure of what to make of it, the captain called Doku, the engineer to get it off his ship and return the computer back to its original self. It was their first contact with an alien life form unlike anything they had encountered before, and therefore virtually an impossible command to follow. However Doku tried and tried and the more he tinkered the deeper the entity embedded itself into the ships memory banks. It turned out the entity was friendly, although a little quirky and had decided that it would take on a female personality. Captain Wobi and ensign Doku decided that they would nick name the new computer Oli.

It presented itself to the captain as a human-ghost like Artificial Intelligence. As Doku continued to tinker, he realised that this was a welcome, although unexpected upgrade to the ship’s computer, and would greatly help transform the Intercepter into something more worthy of a ship that could save the earth. Fortunately, the Black-Hole, was still many light years away from Earth.

African National Aero Nautical Space Institute authorises the first astronaut into outer-space.

The African National Aero Nautical Space Institute (A.N.A.N.S.I) deliberated for several days on the best course of action when Ghanaian scientists first discovered the black-hole and revealed the latest threat to the people of earth.

The most challenging aspect of the council’s discussions was how they were to tackle the effects of the black-hole and how much time they had to develop a plan that would work.
The people of earth had not yet achieved intergalactic flight and so they first needed to build a space ship, and fast. They called upon the expertise of the wacky Professor Boateng, who with the help of military scientists built the first NSI space craft, christened the Interceptor.
Its mission, to journey to the black-hole and save planet Earth by any means necessary.
The council of the institute examined all possible candidates for this suicidal mission and reluctantly agreed to call upon Captain Wobi Black.
